Clinics designed for juniors 6-13 years of age. The clinics provide a chance to learn the game of golf in an affordable FUN, safe environment. Equipment is provided if necessary.

The Tri-Cities PGA Juniors Series compliments the TGA Junior Tour and gives juniors additional opportunities to compete locally. The top 8 qualifiers from each age division will be invited to compete in the Tri-Cities Junior Amateur Championship held at The Virginian Golf Club on July 25th.

How to Qualify for the Championship: Players best 3 scores will be averaged from TGA Junior Tour and Tri-Cities Junior Series Events. Players must play in atleast 1 Tri-Cities PGA Junior Series Event. Players must reside in the following counties or be a member of a facility in those counties: Washington, Sullivan, Greene, Hawkins, Claiborne, Grainger, Johnson, Carter, Hancock, Unicoi, Lee (VA), Scott (VA), Wise (VA), Washington (VA
The Toyota TGA Junior Tour exists to foster growth and development of junior golfers of all ages and abilities by providing them with positive experiences through competitive and educational events.

Ages 4-18 can compete. Top qualifying players will earn invitations to play at the season-ending Championships. Two Divisions are available based on average score.

Tennessee Middle School Golf Association
The Junior Golf Travel League is designed to give high school players a competitive league to participate in to prepare them for their upcoming summer tournaments and High School tryouts. This league will take place at 6 Tri-Cities area golf courses.
The Golf Travel League consists of 6 weeks with 9 holes of play each week. Each week will be stroke play to better prepare the participants for their summer competition. This is a great way to gain tournament experience and prepare for the season.

Elgibility: Grades 8-12, understanding of the Rules of Golf
Carry and walk 9 holes (no golf carts will be allowed)
Time: Tee Times start at 4:00 (will be emailed out a week prior to League day)
The Junior Golf League is designed to introduce students to the basics of tournament golf in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Players must already have a good understanding of how to play on the golf course and must be able carry their own golf bag for nine holes. Players are broken into Elementary, Middle and High School divisions and all rounds will be played using the USGA Rules of Golf. Awards will be given for Sportsmanship, Most Improved and Season Scoring Average, along with weekly prizes for closest to the hole on select holes.
The Golf League consists of 6 weeks with 9 holes of play each week. Each week will be stroke play to better prepare the participants for competitive golf. There will be a stroke limit as to not discourage the players. This is a great learning experience and great way to meet and play with other juniors.
Course: Big Hollow Par 3
Elgibility: Ages 8-17 (ages are broken into Elementary, Middle and High School). Must be able to keep score, carry bag and have basic understanding of Rules
Dates: April 7, 14, 21, 28, May 5 & May 12
Time: 4:30 Shot-Gun
Fee: $65 (includes green fees, favors and awards)

Created to determine the top players in the area through a Point System. Top players will compete vs the PGA team in a Ryder Cup format at the end of the year. The Food City Tri-Cities Amateur Championship is the MAJOR of the year with the winner receiving an exemption onto the Cup Team. Players also receive points simply for participation.

Tennessee Golf Association Championship & Qualifiers
State Open, State Amateur, Senior State Open, Senior State Amateur, Four-Ball, Senior Four-Ball, Match Play, Senior Match Play & Junior Amateur
The Series runs from March 7 - Oct 24 at 13 area golf courses. Play with your regular group in this blind draw format that awards amateurs for participation and gives them a chance to draw out on teams for gift certificates. Senior Tees are available and some courses allow play on Sunday. Simply call the golf course to reserve your tee time. There is also a Low Am division.
Players earning 66 or more points throughout the year will be invited to the Partners Circle Final Pro-Am at Warriors Path Golf Course.
