Tri-Cities Junior Amateur Championship

Overview

The Virginian Golf Club has hosted the Tri-Cities PGA Junior Amateur Championship the past 17 years.  Local juniors have played in this event for the title of Tri-Cities PGA Junior Amateur Champion.  There are 7 different age divisions between boys and girls to compete in and NCAA golf coaches are usually on-site for the event.

Juniors who live in the Tri-Cities PGA Chapter counties, or belong to a club in those counties are eligible for the Championship.  Juniors will average their three best scores from Tri-Cities PGA Junior Amateur Series events and Sneds Tour events to determine who qualifies.  Juniors must play in at least 1 Tri-Cities PGA Junior Amateur Series event (if they play on the Sneds Tour) to be eligible.  The top scoring averages in each age division will be invited to the Championship.
