MEET THE STAFF

Cody Weems is the Executive Director for The First Tee Tri-Cities and the Regional Director for the Tennessee Golf Foundation.   Cody is originally from Gray, TN and is a graduate from Tusculum College with a degree in Sport Management.  He spent 6 years in Nashville working for the Tennessee Golf Foundation.   Cody’s experience is in junior golf instruction.  In Nashville he spent most of his time developing and teaching junior clinics, and operating the Tennessee PGA Junior Golf Academy.   He has been involved in two The First Tee National Academies and three Ace & Eagle Golf Academies which were held at Golf House Tennessee.  He is entering his third year in the Tri-Cities and is excited about continuing to grow the game of golf within the community

Jenny Brock

Jenny Brock is one of the Head Coaches in the Tri Cities The First Tee program.  She has been a life-long golfer, dedicating the past decade to teaching others how to play this wonderful sport.  Jenny received her professional teaching credentials from the United States Golf Teaching Federation in 2006.  She focuses her private instructional practice to helping adults and youth understand and demonstrate the fundamentals of golf.  She is committed to helping each student reach their realistic golf goals.  Her goal for each student is that they will reach a level of golf success so that it becomes a life-long activity for them.

 

Jenny began volunteering for The First Tee Tri-Cities program several years ago.  Her dedication to teaching youth and her support of The First Tee approach were a natural fit.  She became the one of the Head Coaches for the program in 2010 and leads the program in Johnson City, Elizabethon and Bristol.  Jenny is an experienced teacher and is dedicated to sharing her skills in helping others learn golf the “successful way”.
Adam Dean, PGA
Following a nine-year career in stock car racing, Adam found interest in the game of golfafter participating in a charity tournament. He began working for Clear Creek Golf Clubin 2006, and earned his Class-A PGA Membership in 2011.  During his tenure, Adam won three Assistant Professional of the Year awards (2008, 2011, 2013), and the 2012 Teacher of the Year award for the Tri-Cities PGA Chapter.  He became Program Director for The First Tee Tri-Cities in 2014.
